If you've purchased the new Pixel Buds Pro 2 in the last few days, you may have noticed that not all features are unlocked when you use them on Windows or macOS. The official app that gives you access to all the settings didn't work for them, so you could only use them as regular headphones. Fortunately, Google appears to be changing this, with new documentation providing instructions for desktops.

Clicking on this link will actually take you to a setup page where you can connect your Pixel Buds. As far as features go, you should be able to do everything you can do on a mobile device or Chromebook. So give it a try if you really want to use all the features of your Pixel Buds on your desktop. There doesn't seem to be a desktop app at the moment, but the web service is definitely better than nothing.
