Publisher Nintendo and developer Monolith Soft announced Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition For Switch. It will be available worldwide on March 20, 2025 for $59.99. This includes improved visuals, additional story elements, and more. is a remastered version of the Wii U game released in 2015.

Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition features your character at the center of the action in a standalone sci-fi story. Customize your avatar's appearance and class to your liking, and choose from a variety of options in a comprehensive battle system that's as deep as you want it to be. Once you've proven yourself in the BLADE organization, you can also unlock the mighty Skell: your giant, customizable piece of machinery skilled in scouting and combat to aid you in your adventures in Mira.

As you engage in rebuilding efforts, you'll meet the people of the NLA, help them with their problems, and bond with your party members to unlock quests that include rare tools and other rewards to earn.
