- Version 1.3 was released with the new Black Shores region
- Two new Resonators added along with new weapons
- Lots of extra events to attend
Kuro Games has finally launched the latest update for Wuthering Waves, bringing the highly anticipated version 1.3 to the open-world ARPG. At the heart of this update is the mysterious new region, the Black Shores, along with a host of new content, including new playable characters and additional main story missions.
Wuthering Waves' new region, the Black Shores, is an enigma shrouded in mystery. It consists of two main areas: the Black Shores Archipelago and Tethys' Deep. Both areas are filled with rich lore, dangerous enemies, and vast landscapes waiting to be explored. As you explore these lands, tension builds as you uncover the hidden past of this once-secluded island, while a blue figure hints at the dangers that await in the new main quest.
You can explore this area with both new Resonators added in this update. First up is the 5-star Shorekeeper, the guardian of the Black Shores, whose fighting style focuses on healing, crowd control, and damage amplification. Then there's Youhu, the four-star Resonator who excels at healing for survivability and damage caused by resonance abilities.
Additionally, new weapons also arrive in version 1.3, including the five-star Stellar Symphony series and the four-star Deep Sky Blazar series. Test them against the Fallacy of No Return, a new boss that can be found at the border between real and data space. On top of that, two new Echoes, Phantom: Gulpuff and Phantom: Limescale Construct, have also been added.
