Kuro Games’ new ARPG Wuthering Waves will be introducing its latest character, the stoic Xiangli Yao, ahead of its 1.2 update. And the best part? You’ll be able to recruit him as part of the upcoming Moon-Chasing Festival. How does it work? Well, let’s dig in and find out!

So, who is Xiangli Yao? This new five-star character is the lead investigator of Huaxu Academy, a model student, and a caring guy. Yes, he is every intolerably perfect guy you've ever met, although we're sure that might appeal to some of you. But what about combat? Well, judging by his trailer, you're in for a very deadly ally despite his calm exterior.

But the best part for players is that you can grab Xiangli Yao as part of the upcoming Moon-Chasing Festival. Until September 28th from now, you can participate by granting wishes and building stalls at the fair. Once you reach the desired popularity, you will receive Ziangli Yao! Just remember that you will need to be level 17 and have completed the main quest Chapter I Act III Ominous Star to be eligible.
