New South Wales Police were called to an address on Spring Street in Concord at 12.30am on Saturday following reports of a stabbing.
When they arrived, they found a man outside the property with numerous stab wounds to his chest.
The man, whose official identification has not yet been made, was treated by paramedics but died at the scene of the accident.
A teenager was arrested nearby and is assisting police with their investigation at Burwood Police Station.
