Police are searching for a man who brandished a large kitchen knife in broad daylight and threatened staff as he robbed a kebab shop.

The horrific incident occurred on May 22 at a kebab and pizza shop on Phoenix Road in Spearwood.

At around 11:15 a.m., the man entered the store, threatened employees with a large kitchen knife and demanded cash from the cash register.

The staff complied with his request and he then fled on foot.

Investigators believe that the person pictured could assist in the investigation.
