The devastated father of a 21-month-old boy who died two days after refusing a blood test at the Joondalup Health Campus has refuted the findings of an investigation that exonerated doctors and nurses on duty.
Sandipan Dhar’s parents took him to the Joondalup Health Campus emergency department on March 22 with a referral from a general practitioner. The referral stated that the toddler had a long-term fever and “required a blood test”.
