The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is investigating the Secret Service’s handling of former President Donald Trump’s security the day a gunman tried to assassinate him at a rally in Pennsylvania.
A brief statement on the agency’s website on Wednesday said the goal was to evaluate the “Secret Service process for securing former President Trump’s campaign rally on July 13, 2024.”
