World News Police seek public help as they investigate firearms burglary on Great Eastern Highway near Coolgardie Blog

Police are appealing for information in their search for two people after firearms were stolen from a property on the Great Eastern Highway west of Coolgardie.

Kalgoorlie Criminal Investigation Department is investigating an incident on Monday 1 July in which two unknown persons broke into the Bullabulling group’s property approximately 70km west of Kalgoorlie-Boulder.

According to police, the couple broke into the property on the Great Eastern Highway west of Coolgardie at around 4:50 p.m.

There they stole a safe from the wall containing two firearms before fleeing the scene.

The stolen firearms were a Bentley double-barreled shotgun in 12 gauge and an Anschütz repeating rifle with a left-hand cylinder bolt in .22 caliber.
