Four Australian banks must repay nearly $30 million after a review by the U.S. corporate regulator found they charged high fees to customers who could least afford it.
A new report by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission revealed that ANZ, Commonwealth Bank, Westpac and mid-sized banks Bendigo and Adelaide Bank had at least two million low-income customers in high-fee accounts.
