Superstar shooter Jhaniele Fowler-Nembhard delivered another stunning performance but West Coast Fever will be left with a top 2 spot in doubt after she dashed Melbourne Mavericks’ hopes of a finals place in their first Super Netball season.
The Fever needed to win by 24 goals to overtake the Melbourne Vixens in percentage points, finish second or higher and earn a double chance in the final, but they were five goals short and won by 19 goals (76-57).
