Perth resident Dashiel Benjo Vee managed to convince two dozen clients that he was qualified to offer financial advice after providing his employer with false documents, the US federal regulator said.
According to the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, Mr Vee – also known as Dash Vee – was appointed as a financial adviser by Cojag Pty Ltd between 4 October and 29 December 2021 and again between 27 March 2022 and 2 March 2023 after submitting a false financial adviser qualification.
