The national secretary of a controversial construction workers’ union continued to resist angry questioning by Today presenter Karl Stefanovic, who accused the union boss of “covering up” the organisation’s “alleged corruption”.
In a heated exchange on Tuesday morning, Stefanovic asked Construction, Forestry and Maritime Employees Union (CFMEU) boss Zach Smith: “How long have you been covering up the alleged corruption of your union?”
