Hey everyone, welcome to our latest Pocket Gamer Weekend Wrapp.

This is a chance to see what the various members of the Pocket Gamer team are planning to play this weekend, and hopefully give you a glimpse into some of the weird and wonderful things we do when we're not keeping you updated with the latest news and tips. Hell, you might even find a new game to play.

Last week's Last Cloudia adventure didn't go so well: I spent a day and a half trying to recover my old account details only to realize that, once I finally logged in, I had no memory of the game. Not only had I forgotten all the missions I was apparently half-done, but I couldn't even catch up despite the return bonuses. Alas, that's what happens to quitters!

Of course, since I didn't learn anything, I decided to pick up my old Ghost of Tsushima game (I keep stopping here and there) since Jin Sakai is in the new Amazon show Secret Level. As for whether or not I'll have trouble with the controls given my tennis elbows, we'll just have to see next week…

Monster Hunter Now Season Three is out now, and with it comes a ton of new weapons and armor. Not only have they added the Heavy Bowgun, but they've added three new monsters: Aknosom, Magnamalo, and Rajang. Nightshade Paolumu also returns, which is awesome because I didn't fight many of them the first time around and I need some of their parts for gear.

This is great news for cool armor (Rajang's armor is awesome), but not for my SECRET MONSTER HUNTER NOW MISSION which consisted of building every available weapon and armor and having them all outside of the white, green, and blue rarities. Three new monsters means fifteen new armor pieces and – at a guess – about thirty new weapons. Therefore, I will definitely be spending most of this weekend playing MHN (even while I'm away for PoGo community day).

Aside from mobile gaming, there are a few PC demos I’d like to spend more time with: Holstin, Wilmot Works It Out, and Camper Van, and beyond that, we’ll just have to see where the weekend takes me.

This week I’m taking a break from the seven seas to walk on dry land. In real life! Why? You might reasonably ask. Well, because it’s a Community Day in Pokemon Go! Different Go-ers enjoy these events for different reasons. Some want to try to find a perfect version of a specific Pokemon, while others want to get dozens of Shiny ones. I’m more in the latter camp, even though I only want one—it feels less special when you have 60 Shiny Litwick lying around.

This Saturday's Community Day is all about Ponyta, and that's awesome for two reasons. The first is that Ponyta is a top-tier Pokémon. Who doesn't love the idea of a fiery horse? The second, and perhaps more crucial, reason is that it's a chance to get two Shinies because Galarian Pontya will be galloping around as well. Double prizes are always awesome, right? Alas, not for me this week. I'll only be hunting for the blue-flame Kanto Ponyta, since I happened to catch the cotton candy variant. I assume it escaped from the stable a few days earlier, not that I'm complaining.

After being sick and unable to keep my phone down for the past few days (insert crying emoji here), I'm hoping to get back into gaming by the weekend. I had a couple of assignments for a game that's close to my heart, Stardew Valley, and I'm looking forward to getting back to the farm and relaxing.

I also just started playing Cat Fantasy, with the new event they released, everyone gets a free SSR fighter. My goal is to level her up and get her on my team since I've been pretty unlucky with summons. Oh, the life of a gacha lover. Oh, and if you decide to play, I've also made a tier list for the game!

Despite calling myself a “hardcore” gamer, I was completely hooked on the recently released match-3 game Monster Hunter Puzzles. I’ve always been a huge Monster Hunter fan, and while this isn’t the standard gameplay the series is designed to be, I can’t help but smile at my phone at all my Palico friends creating their own island paradise.

As for non-mobile games, I’ve finished Persona 3 Reload after putting it off for months in preparation for the newly released DLC, as well as the new Atlus game Metaphor: King Fantazio, which is coming out in about a month, so I can dedicate another 200 hours of my life to it.

It seems like we're all into Pokemon Go on Pocket Gamer, because I'm playing Pokemon Go too (as a community ambassador, hosting events both Saturday and Sunday in my city). Like Stephen and Dann, I'll be playing it too! But I've also downloaded Freshly Frosted, which I've always thought about dedicating to PC, but never got around to it.

Freshly Frosted is a cute and relaxing puzzle game where you have to package brightly colored donuts through conveyor belts. Specific donuts come from their starting areas and have to reach specific end areas. Sometimes, you have to use the belts to subject them to things like frosting, to make them look like the final product. I have a lot to do this weekend, so quick, small puzzles that are satisfying to solve are exactly what I need.
