Publisher Phoenixx and developer Aqua Style will release Touhou Project fan game dungeon crawler RPG Touhou Genso Wanderer: Foresight for PlayStation 4 and Switch on September 18 for $37.99, the companies announced. It supports English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese language options.

The price of the game in Japan will be 4950 yen. A physical edition for Switch will also launch in Japan on November 28th. It will be ¥5,500 for the standard edition and ¥9,900 for the limited edition. The latter includes a special box, the original soundtrack and a hidden object, an art book, an acrylic diorama stand of the main visual, and two downloadable costume contents.

Touhou Genso Wanderer: Foresight was originally released for PC via Steam on May 15th.

The PlayStation 4 and Switch versions will add the following features:

  • Hakurei Temple Repair Upgrades – By opening the lake at Hakurei Temple, a certain person associated with the lake will visit the area. Additional upgrades can unlock more features, events, and dungeons.
  • New costume for Reimu – Remiu's outfits include not only the “Winter Attire” downloadable content, but also the new “Elegant Shrine Maiden Attire” costume that will be added alongside the console release.
  • Popular Bosses' Special Moves appear as Spell Cards – Popular boss spell card effects have been significantly improved from the PC version. These activation effects still boast some of the best visuals in the series. Reimu can now also pick up and use boss spell cards herself.

The story

Reimu Hakurei is defeated in battle and faints. He arrives at Hakurei Temple and finds himself.

He can't remember anything… What was he doing in the first place?

Recovering, Reimu sets out to solve the case with her friend Marisa Kirisame.

Now Reimu must save Gensokyo…
