Call of Duty: Mobile is getting dark with the introduction of new anti-hero operators in Season 8: Shadow Operatives. There are new store additions, new challenges, and a new map in this portable adaptation of the super-popular shooter franchise. So what's included? Let's take a look.

The biggest addition is obviously a set of new “anti-hero” operator skins, tied to the premium pass. With names like Samael – Techno Thug, you can be sure to get something decidedly dark. They’re accompanied by the introduction of the first mythical rifle in the form of the JAK-12 and a space gorilla (no, I’m not kidding).

As for the new map, Combine was introduced in Black Ops: III and has a decidedly vertical feel as you battle between two main buildings in the Sahara Desert, dodging fire from ledges above. You can find a breakdown of all the countless additions on the official Call of Duty blog!

Breaking down what's new in Call of Duty always confuses me. I wouldn't exactly call myself an old-school player, but things have definitely changed since the original Black Ops and World at War. However, for those of you who like collectibles, there's certainly a lot of that in this new season, plus the addition of a new map to mix up the rotation a bit more.

But as always, Call of Duty Warzone Mobile continues to lurk in the background. And I definitely think it will slowly start to eclipse the regular CoD Mobile.
