It will be released by Bandai Namco Taiko no Tatsujin: Festival of Rhythm Digitally on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store on November 7, the company announced. The demo is available now for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam.
The game is priced at $49.99 / £39.99 / €49.99 for the standard edition, which includes the “Namco Game Music Pack” downloadable content, and $79.99 / £65 for the Setlist Edition, which includes the “Anime” downloadable content. 99 / €79.99. Songs Collection”, “Namco Game Music Pack”, “Pops Collection” and “Vocaloid Songs Collection”. Digital pre-orders are now available.
In Japan, the accessory manufacturer HORI will release a special controller for the game. It will be available in two SKUs – one compatible with PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC, and the other with Xbox Series and PC.
Taiko no Tatsujin: Festival of Rhythm first launched on September 22, 2022 in Japan and worldwide on September 23. The new release will mark the first Taiko no Tatsujin will support 120 frames per second on consoles and feature new collaboration music and exclusive mini-characters for new platforms, as well as “Run! Ninja Dojo” mode was added to the Switch version via a post-release update.

76 songs are available in the game in different genres like Anime, VOCALOID, Game Music and Pop! The songs include “Gurenge”, “My neighbor Totoro – Ending Theme Song,” “Charles,” “MEGALOVANIA,” “Into the Night,” “Feel Special” and more! Have fun playing casually with another player or compete for the highest score! You can also use the Upgrade Support to help improve your drumming skills!
Three types of party games are available for two to four players
- The Great Drum Toy War – Play along with songs and place toys to push back your opponent's toys and aim for victory!
- Don-chan Band – Work as a group of four to deliver successful concerts!
- Run away! Ninja Dojo – Become a ninja and compete with four other players! Overcome numerous obstacles as you fight for 1st place!
