The Nintendo Switch sold 146.04 million units worldwide as of September 30, 2024, Nintendo announced in its latest earnings release.

In the three months ending September 30, 2024, a total of 2.62 million Switch hardware and 39.64 million software units were sold.

Nintendo also shared updated sales numbers for first-party Switch titles.

Here are the top 10 best-selling first-party Switch titles:

  1. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – 64.27 mln
  2. Animal Crossing: New Horizons – 46.45 million
  3. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – 35.14 mln
  4. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – 32.29 million
  5. Super Mario Odyssey – 28.50 million
  6. Pokemon Sword / Pokemon Shield – 26.44 million
  7. Pokemon Scarlet / Pokemon Violet – 25.69 million
  8. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – 21.04 mln
  9. Super Mario Party – 20.98 million
  10. New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe – 17.77 million

Newly announced additional first-party sales numbers include:

  • Nintendo Switch Sports – 14.37 mln
  • The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom – 2.58 million (New)
  • Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door (2024) – 1.94 million
  • Luigi's Mansion 2 HD – 1.57 million

Over 1,306.10 million Switch games have been sold worldwide.
