Com2uS’s top gacha RPG Summoners War: Sky Arena is set to continue its collaboration with one of the world’s top shonen series, Jujutsu Kaisen! A special collaboration mission will run from now until September 30th. You’ll be able to earn tons of themed rewards as you battle with your favorite characters from the series!

Jujutsu Kaisen follows teenager Itadori Yuji, who ends up discovering a world of sorcerers when he accidentally eats a cursed finger (don't ask). Unfortunately, this also means he is now marked for death, as said fingers contain the spirit of the ancient demon Sukuna. Fortunately, Itadori is granted a stay of execution to attend Jujutsu Academy, in an attempt to find the remaining fingers and eliminate Sukuna once and for all.

In-game, the collaboration has expanded to allow you to grab Engraved Scrolls and L&D Scrolls if you manage to complete the challenge of collecting 100 Cursed Crystals each week. You can also meet iconic JJK characters as rivals in the arena and fight them in simulated battles.

Having only been slightly familiar with Jujutsu Kaisen, I was surprised to learn that the series would be coming to an end relatively quickly when it was announced just a few weeks ago. So it’s no surprise that Summoners War has chosen to expand this collaboration to capitalize on the wave of interest, though that may be little comfort to fans as they bid farewell to their favorite characters.
