- Inexpensive wired headphones that offer high-quality sound.
- The Stealth LED Panther is affordable and just what you would expect from a gaming headset.
- The RGB lights are minimalist but give just enough to stand out.
I tried out the Stealth LED Panther headphones and am excited to have found my next gaming gear. I've had dozens of headphones, earbuds, and even earbuds in my life, but when it comes to something reliable, when I play games like Path of Exile or League of Legends, I need to hear every single sound. That's usually how I know I've found a good one.
In this review I will tell you about my experience with the Stealth LED Panther headset with its pros and cons. Yes, there are a couple of negative points on my part, but for the most part I am extremely happy with it.

Comfortable headphones for long gaming sessions
I spent an entire weekend using headphones and playing Path of Exile and never had any discomfort. The fabric adapts well to the ears: it is soft and isolates sound very well. It's almost like having sound-canceling headphones: it's simply the best solution when playing games where sound is so important, because it doesn't allow external distractions.
As for the overall design, I am satisfied. The Stealth LED Panther headphones look great and have a minimalist design enhanced by a new RGB light strip around the ear cups. Also, I really like the placement of the buttons.
The buttons allow for really simple controls without additional apps
I believe there are two types of people: those who have the headphones at maximum volume and adjust everything else from the app, or those who have the app volume at maximum and adjust the volume from the headphones. I'm one of those people who likes to adjust everything from the headphones, and having the ability to do that here is a big deal.
I don't want to switch cards when I'm in the middle of a gaming session, so I would take the volume and other controls built into the headphones any day.
The microphone is great, but I'm not a fan of the fact that it's not removable. Sometimes I just want to relax and listen to the news or watch a video without having a microphone in my face. It's not exactly comfortable if you want to eat or drink while wearing headphones, so for me it's not ideal. If you don't mind, though, there's plenty more to make up for that little “inconvenience”.
Even though I'm a fan of wireless/Bluetooth headphones, the Stealth LED Panther headphones have a long enough cable (1.20 m) to allow you freedom of movement. And something else that I think is important is the fact that the cable is durable, which means that after a while you won't have any connectivity issues. You know when you have to start twisting the cable so that both speakers actually work? Yes, I don't think you will have these problems with these.
Speaking of the sound, it works and sounds perfect. Voice is clear when you're talking on Discord with friends or for a podcast (my wife used it during our weekly Pocket Gamer podcast and was super happy), so I'd say it's a reliable and affordable peripheral to use for even podcasts.
