Sony Interactive Entertainment has given an early look at some of its plans for the PlayStation's 30th anniversary, which it will celebrate on December 3rd. Gran Turismo 7 he called My First Gran Turismodigital game soundtracks, Shapes of Play product collection, free multiplayer online weekend and esports tournaments. According to Sony Interactive Entertainment, these activities and releases are “just a taste of what's to come” as it approaches its 30th anniversary later this year.

Digital game soundtracks

Every month from October to January, in partnership with Sony Music, we'll be releasing a set of digital soundtracks from fan-favorite PlayStation franchises on Spotify for the first time. You'll be able to stream the following game tracks on Spotify or purchase them at various digital music storefronts, including Amazon Music, Apple Music, and participating music retailers:

  • God of war
  • God of War II
  • God of War: Ghost of Sparta
  • Twisted Metal
  • Starhawk
  • Warhawk
  • Unit 13

Free Online Multiplayer Weekend and Esports Tournaments

Join us later this month for a weekend of free online multiplayer and exciting esports tournaments! To celebrate the fantastic online games and communities on PlayStation, we're hosting a free online multiplayer weekend on September 21st and 22nd. During those days, you can enjoy online multiplayer for games you own without having a PlayStation 5 or PlayStation Plus membership. PlayStation 4 consoles.

We'll be hosting a number of PlayStation 5 esports tournaments featuring titles like the same weekend. NBA 2K24, NBA 2K25, Madden NFL 24, The MLB Show 24, EA UFC 5, Tekken 8and Guilty Gear: Run. If you own any of these games and qualify, you can compete to win a special 30th anniversary avatar and other in-game prizes on September 21st and 22nd.
