Haegin’s social gaming platform Play Together has taken the bold step of introducing a new type of pet, much to the delight of children and the outrage of parents reading Christmas lists around the world, when Pony-type pets have arrived. And it’s not just one or two, there are a whopping 120 ponies in total! So let’s dig in and find out more.

The new Pony Pets come in many variations, such as a donkey, a unicorn, and even a pegasus. And yes, there is a “Ponypedia” for the collectors among you to complete as you collect more and more of these equestrian acquisitions.

Completing this massive tome gives you the chance to unlock special rewards like the Pony Costume, Super Premium Card Vault, and more. Acquiring a special Pony pet will also grant you gems. Of course, there are a host of new cosmetics like the Riding Jacket or Ponytail to grab as part of this update, and a ton of new quests.

It's certainly interesting to see the inclusion of pets like this come through in such a grand way. But it's no doubt been a long time coming if even a fraction of those 120 ponies are unique. Personally, I'd be surprised if anyone managed to snap up all of these pets, but I suppose the allure of those promised rewards must be pretty tempting.
