Phoenix 2 just released a major content update with a new campaign

  • Version 7.0 includes a number of new features
  • New campaign and controller support for everyone
  • Personalized name tags for VIP members

Phoenix 2, the popular shooter title from Firi Games, has just released a major update packed with new features. The version 7.0 patch just introduced a new Campaign mode, customizable player tags, and full support for game controllers, making the game more accessible than ever.

Phoenix 2's brand new campaign will keep you busy for a while. Unlike the daily missions you may be used to, the Campaign allows you to progress at your own pace. On top of this, custom player tags have been introduced, allowing VIP members to customize their leaderboard entries for even more bragging rights.

If you were hoping for a more tactile approach, the update also includes full controller support. Additionally, this support extends to iOS 18 Game Mode, offering smoother and more responsive gameplay for controller users. And that's not all, because the title's user interface has also been updated with new wave progress indicators and a new timer function for speedrunners.

And for veteran players, there's sweet news. If you have been a dedicated pilot for more than a year, you will now see a special veteran indicator on the pilot screen. It's a nice nod to the dedicated players who have been at it for a while.
