Hit-Point has finally released juicy details about Neko Atsume 2, and finally, all is right with the world. The charming idle cat-collecting game made waves when it first launched to enslave the human race with cute feline overlords, and the highly anticipated sequel was delayed until this fall. Now, we finally have more details on what the sequel has in store, and yes, it is every bit as good as I imagined.
In the latest development update for Neko Atsume 2, a plethora of new features have been revealed, including, as expected, new cats that you'll need to lure into your home to add to your collection. You'll also be able to venture out of your backyard and into the great outdoors, which means Conductor Whiskers will finally have a real train to operate, instead of his old toy train.
To share your love of cats with other cat lovers, you can now invite friends into your yard or visit theirs. Also, the toys you leave out for your kitty companions will eventually break from too much love, so it's up to you to fix them to keep those furry felines happy.
There's also a new “My Neko” feature which, apparently, is a little personal detail that you can customize to make it your own.
I can't say enough about how excited I am for this release, but if you're like me and need something to keep you company until then, why not check out our list of the best idle games for Android to tide you over?
