Would you use Microsoft Edge if you had the chance to win $1,000,000? If the answer is yes, then the Redmond giant has an offer for you. The company is encouraging people to use Microsoft Edge and Bing by offering one lucky winner a whopping million dollars, but that probably still isn't enough to get some people to use their services.

Microsoft has launched a $1,000,000 sweepstakes for use of its products
As discovered by Windows CentralMicrosoft has apparently become angry that people seem to love Google's products more than its own. As such, it is now awarding $1,000,000 to one lucky winner and ten runners-up worth $10,000 if you agree to install and use the Services. The more you use the products, the more entries you will receive in the raffle.
As Windows Central gets to the point:
One of the tasks is to simply install Microsoft Edge, another is to simply search a series of points on Bing every day. If you set your default browser and search engine to Edge and Bing, you can passively maximize the 200 listings without having to perform any additional tasks.
This is all par for the course for what Microsoft has tried to do throughout 2024. It seems that the company really wants to push people away from Google products and will apparently do anything to get them to switch. A few months ago we saw a case where Bing Wallpaper was asking people to sideload an extension on Chrome. Since then, we've seen Microsoft copy Google Chrome's homework to potentially encourage people to switch.
