Maid of Sker, Wales Interactive’s Victorian horror game, is now available on the iOS App Store and Google Play. Taking you to a windswept island to face bizarre Lovecraftian horrors, this first-person horror title has finally made the leap to mobile devices after its PC debut.

Set on the fictional Welsh island of Sker in 1898, you play as Thomas Williams, who travels to a hotel on the island at the request of resident Elisabeth Williams to investigate strange occurrences. What he discovers, however, is far more terrifying than he could have imagined. But even as he struggles to survive, can he trust the woman who brought him there?

Out now on iOS and Android, Maid of Sker is one of Wales Interactive’s rare non-FMV titles. Taking players to an isolated Welsh island, it’s a horror game in the vein of titles like Alien: Isolation, so if you’re expecting to shoot things up like Leon Kennedy, you might be a little disappointed.

It’s certainly interesting to see a game set in my home country, let alone a horror game. But Wales Interactive lives up to its name here. How do you know if Maid of Sker is for you?
