High Seas Hero is a brand new battleship simulator from Century Games, now in pre-registration

  • High Seas Hero is a new battleship simulation from Century Games
  • Build and upgrade your ship, train your crew and fight on the high seas
  • Now in pre-registration for iOS and Android!

Sure, rising sea levels and a warming climate may be a little concerning, but at least we're not far from living out our Kevin Costner Waterworld (1995) fantasies. Right? Well, Century Games doesn't want us to wait that long, as their latest release High Seas Hero is already in pre-registration for Android and iOS!

Taking you to a not-so-distant future where rising sea levels have covered the land, you'll command, build and upgrade your very own battleship. You'll have to deal not only with hordes of enemies and powerful bosses, but also with the environment itself as you work to protect your crew from the elements.

Previously known as Battleship Brawl, High Seas Hero appears to be headed towards a full release soon, especially since now is the time Century Games has chosen to unlock pre-registration.

Frozen seas

Eagle-eyed viewers will of course recognize Century Games from their Frostpunk-style release Whiteout Survival, which drops you into a similarly inhospitable climate and has you working to survive a frozen ice age. Fortunately, High Seas Hero seems to be a little less cold-sensitive, although surviving the elements will still be an important factor.

I have to admit that I like the look of High Seas Hero, mostly because, like many good mobile games, it reminds me of the old days and Adobe Flash. The kind of fast, casual, fun releases you got during that time have continued to inspire what are (in my opinion) some of the best mobile games.
