Do I need a Pokemon Go Plus+ to track my sleep in Pokemon Sleep?
In short, the answer is no. You can track your sleep using the Sleep button, on the bottom right of the game (which should be there if you haven’t paired a Pokemon Go Plus+). Once you tap that button, your phone will start tracking your sleep. You should then have your phone connected, on your bed next to you. It will record your movements and sounds, to determine how well you sleep. You can then stop sleeping by tapping the Sleep button on your phone again.
Pokemon Go Plus+ lets you track your sleep without having your phone on your bed. It also has some nice little perks like an extra special Pikachu in a hat that collects items for you in Pokemon Sleep, a Pikachu lullaby every night, and some bonuses in Pokemon Go.

Do you need to play Pokemon Sleep to track your sleep in Pokemon Go?
In short, no. You can use your Pokemon Go Plus+ to log your sleep every single day, for Pokemon Go missions, without ever downloading Pokemon Sleep or playing that specific game.

Can I use my Pokemon Go Plus+ on more than one Pokemon Go account to get the quest?
When you link an account to your Pokemon Go Plus+ to your Pokemon Go account, you get a special search associated with the device. You can actually link your Pokemon Go Plus+ to more than one account, but it’s a little tricky. You’ll need to unpair the device from your first Pokemon Go account. You’ll then need to use a pin to tap the small button on the back of your Pokemon Go Plus+ device, which will factory reset it. From there, you can then link it to a new Pokemon Go account.
It’s worth noting that doing this too often seems to cause issues with the device disconnecting from Pokemon Go accounts much more often, requiring you to keep reconnecting. You’ll also need to track your sleep using Pokemon Go Plus+ to get past the first page of the search, so it’s worth completing the search on one account before setting the device up on another, as it can only transfer sleep data to an account once per night.

What are the benefits of using Pokemon Go Plus+ for Pokemon Go?
There are quite a few features you can get by getting a Pokemon Go Plus+ just for Pokemon Go. This device is an auto catcher, which means you can set it to run stops for you and catch Pokemon for you, without having to interact with the device or the game. It can even collect Max Particles from Dynamax Stops. If you drive a lot or work in a busy area, this means you can still get involved in the game while you’re busy.
When you first connect your device to your Pokémon Go account, you’ll get a one-time quest that offers 5 different opportunities to interact with a special Snorlax wearing a nightcap, only available through this quest, which can be Shiny if you’re lucky!
When you track your sleep each night, you will earn in-game items when you match the device with your game. This includes hearts with your friend (in the Bonus category), stardust, and special stickers for using it!

How do I change auto-capture in Pokemon Go Plus+?
Pokemon Go Plus+ has a few options when it comes to auto-catching in Pokemon Go. To see the settings, follow these steps.
- Step 1: Pair Pokemon Go Plus+ with your Pokemon Go account.
- Step 2: Press the Poké Ball menu button at the bottom center of the main screen.
- Step 3: Tap Settings at the top right of the screen.
- Step 4: Tap Connected devices and services.
- Step 5: Tap Accessory Devices
This will bring up a bunch of options in Preferences. Here you can enable Poke Ball Auto-throw, which will only use red Pokeballs. This means you won't have to tap the center button on your device every time a Pokémon is nearby, and it won't vibrate when a Pokémon is nearby. In this option is the auto-spin option, which allows the device to spin the Pokémon Stops without you having to tap it.
Here you can also change the PokéBall used by the device.

Is Pokemon Go Plus+ Worth the Price?
When it comes to whether the Pokemon Go Plus+ is worth it, there is a lot to consider. I found the device to work much better than other auto-catchers I have tried with Pokemon Go before. This device is very easy to charge, using a USB-C cable that plugs right into the device. The option to change Poké Balls, although you still have to tap, is very nice. I found the device itself to vibrate and light up, displaying a disco when you catch a Pokemon or spin a stop, a little too intense for adults! If you have a child you are thinking of getting this for, they will find it fantastic and so cute to watch.
When it comes to sleep tracking, I probably wouldn’t use my phone. I don’t put my phone on my bed while I sleep, I don’t want to give my son his phone to use at night, in his room, when he should be sleeping. With that in mind, the Pokemon Go Plus+ is very necessary. Plus, the search is pretty cool too!
This is the game we had extensively even before it came out, with tons of guides like this. We recently talked about Pokemon Go Routes, and there are always new Pokemon Go promo codes you can use!
