Dragon Ball Project: Multi is Bandi Namco's new multiplatform DBZ game

  • Dragon Ball Project: Multi is the new multiplatform DBZ game from Bandai Namco
  • It features 4v4 MOBA style gameplay between DBZ characters
  • Eliminate enemies and fight to be the first to grab the dragon ball

Bandai Namco has revealed the latest game in their Dragon Ball Z series, with Dragon Ball Project: Multi. They also revealed a trailer AND details about upcoming regional tests, so suffice it to say there's a lot to discover about what this game has in store for fans and, well, everyone else.

First up, the gameplay. From what we can see in the trailer, it looks like a 4v4 MOBA, with an isometric perspective. The focus is, as you might have guessed, on acquiring the Dragon Balls, and fans will be happy to see the average lineup of fan favorites like Buu and Future Trunks alongside mainstays Goku and Vegeta.

But other than that, details are a little sparse at the moment. We do know that regional tests will take place in Canada, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the United States from Monday, August 19th to Tuesday, August 20th. Registration is open on the official Dragon Ball Project: Multi website.

The trailer above certainly isn’t boring, but it sure hits you with a lot of information all at once. That, and the fact that the first regional test lasted a relatively short period of just one day, makes us curious but cautious. After all, pretty much every anime fan knows that Bandai Namco can burn you just as often as they release a great game.

We'll keep you updated on Dragon Ball Project: Multi details as they emerge!
