In a game where there are so many different variations of fighters, these are the absolute best. They dominate the battlefield and shape the meta.

Tier Z and Z+ are the meta-defining fighters in DB Legends right now. It's just that the Z+ fighters are on their level (at least for now). But of course, these four characters here are also super strong and have great teams as well. If you're a Dragon Ball Legends veteran, you won't find this surprising at all. If you're a new player, well… that's it!

We’ve put these characters in a separate tier only because they’re slightly better than the other S Tier units. But no matter how you slice it, these are still the top 15 fighters. They’re more than just powerful characters, of course.

The characters in this tier are still considered “meta”. Obviously, they are not as strong as the fighters in the previous tiers, but they are still more than capable of doing their job, make no mistake! Sometimes it is not just the strength of the characters alone. Dragonball Legends is a team-based game, after all. In any case, we are still talking about the top 20 fighters in the game at the moment, so if you have any of them, they are great.

For example, Cooler was considered by many to be the best, but shortly afterward Beast Gohan came out and took that spot. Then the newest character came out and so on. You get the idea, power creep is real in Dragon Ball. However, if you're not looking to compete at the highest level when it comes to PvP, these fighters are still very solid.

Even though these fighters here are on the lower tier, they can still be useful in some situations. Angry Goku has become very good after the Zenkai upgrade and can be a buffer for some very solid teams.

Blue Goku also received a Zenkai boost that made him much stronger. Incredible defense, Vanish Gauge recovery, and also high damage output. Obviously, you can't build a top-tier team with any of these fighters as the core.
