An eight-player foot racing game DEATH SPRINT 66 It will be released for PC via Steam on September 12th, publisher Secret Mode and developer Sumo Newcastle have announced.

Two special testing sessions are scheduled before the game's release, the first on August 8th at 10:00am PT / 1:00pm ET 2:00pm PT / 5:00pm ET and the second on August 9th at 6:00am PT / 9:00am ET – 10 :00 am PT / 1:00 pm ET.

In the year 2066, the Bachman Media Network is once again set to dominate the world of brutal entertainment with the latest series of its title show. DEATH SPRINT 66 sees competitors take on the role of Clone Jockey with an endless supply of clones at their disposal to compete at the visceral speed of DEATHSPRINT.

Competition

Take part in thrilling 8 player PvP foot races along extreme obstacle courses that push the limits of fun. Get into the flow and earn HYPE by running, jumping, sliding and sliding your way through a series of deadly tracks.

HYPE boosts a number of available and deadly abilities, including Boost, Seekersaw, Mag-Shield, EMP Blasts, and Proximity Mines. A well-practiced skill can be the difference between winning and losing, making these split-second strategic decisions vital to your race.

Have fun

Winning is not enough. Entertaining the audience on the road leads to greater rewards than that. Your FAME score is a measure of how attractive you are to sponsors, the higher the score, the more interested they will be and the more cosmetic products they will open for your runner.

The tracks are full of deadly booby traps, thrilling transitions and opportunities to eliminate your opponents, making every race an unpredictable, unique and engaging experience.
