- Bleach: Brave Souls will host another in-game event
- This time will mark the most recent part of the Thousand Year Blood War story arc broadcast
- The new versions of Giselle, Baimbietta and Cirucci make their debut
Bleach: Brave Souls, the hit spin-off game from the iconic Shonen series, will host a special in-game event to celebrate the franchise's final anime airing. Bleach: Thousand-year Blood War is a story arc that helped spark a newfound interest in Tite Kubo's work and also brought fans back to Bleach: Brave Souls.
To celebrate the second part of the anime, The Conflict, broadcast on Japanese television, new versions of the characters from the series will debut in the game. Quincies Giselle Gewelle, Bambietta Basterbine, and Cirucci will all see new five-star releases that fans can start collecting starting today!
Meanwhile, the Anime Broadcast Special event will run from Halloween until November 15, with an increased draw rate for five-star characters and guaranteed evos for each of the featured characters. Of course, there are also some free summons and other small gifts added.
That's a lot of blood
Since Bleach was one of the “big three” when I was growing up, I was surprised to see it make such a comeback. After Tite Kubo seemingly retired from making manga, the roaring return of the Shinigami as they face villains previously only vaguely alluded to, Quincy (intimidating name, I know) has revived interest in the franchise and even increased Bleach: Brave Anime to 95 million downloads.
And if you want to dive in and see what all the fuss is about, or you're a Bleach fan who just hasn't taken the plunge, why not take a look at our Bleach: Brave Souls tier list to get an idea of where to start?
