The popular match-3 puzzler Best Fiends is ready to celebrate its tenth anniversary with a series of new anniversary events. Despite the ups and downs of the game's developers, fans can at least rest easy knowing that Best Fiends doesn't look to be slowing down any time soon. So what's included? Let's take a look!
The Ten Days of Surprises event has already started, so be sure to sign up to grab some great rewards for new and returning players! In the meantime, there will be a variety of events throughout September, starting with Dice and Ladders, and ending on September 6th, where you can play a festive mini-game.
From September 7th to 11th, it’s Board Game, where you can join the Fiends on a pre-birthday shopping spree to collect a variety of items in this board game-themed adventure.
Finally, from September 12th to 14th, we'll be hosting the Monthly Collection event, where you'll have to scour the game to find the best birthday song to add to the DJ's Spotify playlist.
Diabolical events
All this success will probably be little consolation to some of the developers who were shed during parent company Playtika’s latest round of layoffs a few years ago. Indeed (that’s the name, not a refrain), the studio that developed the game actually shut down in 2022. So while Playtika has been in a tough spot for a while now, it’s clear that it’s leaning into its match-3 success and continued success.
