Called a competitive player-versus-world strategy game, Auto Pirates gives you free reign to choose your crew and outfit your ship before setting sail for battle. You’ll earn loot based on your global rank, and the developers promise no pay-to-win or grind-to-win tactics. Fingers crossed that’s the case!

Featherweight Games is a developer with pedigree, having previously released the fantastic Botworld Adventures. I'm curious to see how they tackle the problem of keeping Auto Pirates out of that pay-to-win maelstrom, because usually when I see auto-battler games they tend to lean towards that.

But if it succeeds, Auto Pirates will surely become a new favorite for those looking for an Auto Battler that focuses on strategy rather than who has the rarest character.
