Publisher Atari and developer Digital Eclipse will release Atari 50: Anniversary Celebration On September 26, the companies announced The Wider World of Atari downloadable content. It includes 19 playable games and eight video segments.
YouTuber MetalJesusRocks, who partnered with Atari for the announcement, will reveal the 19 new games on September 25 at 7:00 a.m. PT / 10:00 a.m. ET.

The Wider World of Atari includes new interviews, vintage ads, historical artifacts and more. Highlights of the new schedule include unusual and underrated innovations and hidden gems from the late 1980s; a spotlight on artist Evelyn Seto, who helped create the iconic “Fuji” Atari logo; Pong explains the birth of creator Al Alcorn Breakout; and exploring the role of the fan base in discovering unreleased prototypes, creating “married” games, and preserving Atari's history.
The second downloadable content will follow on November 8 alongside the physical release of “The First Console War” Atari 50: Extended Edition of Anniversary Edition for PlayStation 5 and Switch, which includes the base game and both expansions.
