Grab your bow and a quiver full of arrows because Archero 2 has arrived. In a way, anyway. As long as you live in Canada, you can play the sequel to the popular action RPG today. There's nothing official from developer Habby yet on when it might arrive in other countries, but that's pretty common with soft launches. Stay tuned to Pocket Gamer, though. We will update you as soon as there are changes.

So, what is Archero 2 about? According to Habby themselves, it is “better than Archero”. That's usually a good start to a sequel. I think we can all agree. And it's that improved follow-up message that they stick to if you check the App Store description. Everything is described as 2.0, including the combat, PvP, roguelike elements and dungeons.

And, despite the soft launch status, there's a lot of content Canadian iOS users can access. At the time of writing, Archero 2 boasts 50 main chapters and 1250 floors of Sky Tower. All this is distributed across three game modes: Defense, Room and Survival.

As for the story, it's pretty simple. A brave hero was tricked by the Demon King into a trap and later turned to the dark side, leading the evil troops into battle. This means the world needs a new hero to save it from these evil individuals, and that person is you!

While we just resumed the soft launch in Canada, it was previously available in Australia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, according to AppMagic, with the App Store version history stating it dates back to June 14, 2024.
